WELCOME TO THE BARBER BOOK

This Family story is all about the Barbers from Minneapolis, Minnesota who moved from Kentucky where they owned a well-established whisky Distillery in Bardstown during the 19th Century. This line can trace its way back not only to the Revolutionary War for membership in D.A.R., but also to the Pilgrims who entered the country on the Mayflower and the Anne, which qualifies for the Mayflower Society.

Names such as Barber, Brown, Morse, Horine, Kenyon, Little, Scwartz, Moon, Heath, Corey, West, Bucket and Soule makeup the direct line to the Mayflower. Many other names married into the Family such as Heffley, Andress, Osburn, Wilson, Walsh, Enger, Logan, Friendshuh, Johnson, LaBrie, Marrow and more...literally a cornucopia of families, noted and otherwise, but all interesting.

If your ancestors made a connection to this Family, you probably can qualify for membership in the D.A.R. and the Mayflower Society. Those organizations can assist you in completing any such application.

Welcome to our Family and may you have hours and hours filled with riveting interest and some surprises. Have fun! This is still a work in progress as new names and dates and events continue to be added to the Book.
