In addition to the great features of the standard PhpGEDview, we have added Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO is a technique to place your genealogy on the top of the search engines, such as Google. Our modifications make your genealogy easily found by your distant cousins. Often your cousins are willing to help in your family research efforts. By collaborating your research, your family tree will grow faster than ever. Of course, you are still free to make your genealogy private, if genealogical collaboration is not important to you.

We support Google Maps

View maps and satellite images of locations for the individuals in your genealogy. Included are map locations for thousands of citys in England, Germany, Netherlands, and USA. You can add more locations as desired.

We don't limit your web experience

Most PhpGEDview hosting companies will limit your space on their server and limit how many times you can access your data. We allow you to put as many pictures, supporting documents, audio, and video that you want. We also don't make you hope that not too many people will find your genealogy. Other services will charge you more, if the bandwidth exceeds some limit that you can not control nor estimate.

Why we offer free genealogy hosting?

We know that once you have put your family tree on the web, you will never go back to the old way of doing genealogy. The installation process is very easy. Simply export your genealogy into GEDCOM format and we will upload your GEDCOM to our servers. All of the common family history software will export to GEDCOM. We convert your GEDCOM to HTML to allow it to be viewed on the Internet by all your family including the family you haven't found, yet. You can then edit and allow others to update your family history. We use the latest version (4.02) of PHP GEDView to give you the most features available.
